À well carbonated copper brown body with firm, lasting light tan head. Light caramel malts, some red fruit and simple appeal. Okay bitterness from start to finish, not much development. Not an awful lot of character then. A shame, it looks great but doesn’t rise above the supermarket standards they set themselves. (75cl bottle from Carrefour in Tours)

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and some fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A crystal clear amber beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. Caramel-malty nose with fruityness and some yeasty hints. Lightly fruity too. The flavor is more on the fruity side, still it’s the caramel that dominates. A lighlty unpleasant note of cooked vegetables chimes in, but it’s not very disturbing. Full body, quite dry, with a bit hard carbonation. Caramel in the finish. 130215
