COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered, and lagered but unpasteurised.
Launched in 2000 as Jenlain Blonde. Changed to Jenlain No. Six in March 2005, with Jenlain Blonde name being used for a new 7.5% beer.
With its splendid golden hues and fruity tones, Jenlain No. Six has a distinctive bitter finish and a hoppy nose. The barley-scented liquor sparkles under its light, foamy head. Light and thirst-quenching, with a rich characteristic savour, it is best served at between 5 and 6°C, with a meal or as an aperitif.

Bottle courtesty of Deanso. Poured a hazy light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is yeast and weak gluey resin. The flavour is weak bitter with bags of malt and more malt on top of that on the weak and watery palate. A truly awful malt beer i’m sad to say. Golden hues, fruity tones and a hoppy nose? Someone is having a laugh !

Can 50Cl, a clear golden beer with low head. Nose is on barley and corn sugar. Aroma is sweet, light burnt caramel, peppery hops, light lemon and orange notes, nutty, light paper touch, dusty hops.

Bought at Vinmonopolet DK, very nice color, it was suitable for the hot danish summer of 2013, smooth and malty.

Pours gold with a large head. Nose shows hay, grainy cereal notes and spicy, grassy hops. Similar flavours, both in terms of hops and malt. Finishes with a light, well-suited bitterness. Body feels a little light.

Very clear yellow, quickly disintegrating head. Dry yeast, light bready, simple. Dry, simple malts. Light bitter. Simple and clear, boring and tasteless. No thanks. (50cl can from Casino)

was positively suprised - not bad beer esp for french beer. its colour and carbonation were rather unsatisfying- could do better.

Old rate, had it around christmas time. Slightly skunky, mild herbal notes, too expensive for what it is.

Surprisingly good for a lager. Fresh even with slightly higher alcohol than rest of the lagers. Not too bitter, bright golden color.

330ml bottle. Pours a pale yellow. Quite carbonated, small head. Surrenders (pun intended) carbonation quickly. Tastes quite hoppy but a stale after tatse
