COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered, and lagered but unpasteurised.
Launched in 2000 as Jenlain Blonde. Changed to Jenlain No. Six in March 2005, with Jenlain Blonde name being used for a new 7.5% beer.
With its splendid golden hues and fruity tones, Jenlain No. Six has a distinctive bitter finish and a hoppy nose. The barley-scented liquor sparkles under its light, foamy head. Light and thirst-quenching, with a rich characteristic savour, it is best served at between 5 and 6°C, with a meal or as an aperitif.

Pours a hazy pale orange with lots of bubbles. Fruit aroma, notes of cherry and apple. Nutty roasted malts. Sweet, malty flavor. Lightly tart and fruity - cherries. Bitter hop finish. A bit sticky but overall drinkable.

330ml can called Jenlain Blonde, 5.9% ABV, bought at Systembolaget somewhere in Sweden (Finn knows where). Straw-gold coloured body, chalk white, lasting head. Smell of fruits. Taste of sweet fruits, including peaches and pears. Still too sweet on the swallow, some refreshments, though (at Finns in Tromsø, 27.10.2010).

Can from a Paris supermarket as Jenlain 6. Pale beer, malty aroma, lots of sweet malt and breakfast cereals. It made me look for a hoppy beer to mix it with.

Pours pale with small dense head that quickly settles. Refreshing yeasty grassiness in aroma with some vanilla and spices in background. Light matliness with a nice long lasting finish.
