COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This top fermented beer is a luxury beer full of flavor and character whose fine balance owes itself to the variety of malts carefully selected from the best growers and the subtle blend of different types of hops, together with a new more aromatic strain of yeast. Its shimmering and sparking robe is crystal clear. It has a dense and persistent head that leaves a fine, filigree pattern on the glass.
A light refreshing beer, it has a summery bouquet with fruity and flowery notes that counterbalance its well-defined hoppy tones and generous and long-lasting aftertaste.
Jenlain Or is best served at between 6 and 8°C.

Pours clear gold with a dense white head that disappears quickly. Sweetness and the smell of alcohol prevail in aroma. Medium carbonation, Fruity (citrus, banana) and sweet flavor with strong taste of alcohol. Short finish.

Medium lasting head, deep orange golden color. Alcohol content is not too noticeable. Very well rounded beer, long lasting taste with full flavor. Not heavy at all. Underrated.

Pongy and skunky early but thankfully blew off. Despite the 8% this was not heavy at all, rather quite good middle weight. Some sweet spice and bitterness to finish; not miles away from Leffe actually so yep a commercial style. A sample from the rep and I reckon will sell about $12 so not bad for a 750ml.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet perfumey malt with talcum notes, fruity and powdery. In mouth, a nice sweet malt with orange pulp, coriander, sweet oil, OK.

[4924-20121104] bottle. Dusty yeasty floral straw aroma. Clear, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Sweet dusty straw grains flavour has a particularly sweet finish. Light-medium body. Not enjoyable. (5/3/3/3/8) 2.2

13/11 A 0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured deep golden body with smaller head. Aroma had cloves, yeast, honey and some alcohol. Flavor was sweet malty, a bit alcoholic, orange and somewhat herbal. Fuller body with long, slightly bitter and more sweet warming finish. Generally too sweet for my taste, although not a bad strong golden ale.

Bottled 750ml. -from E.Leclerc Maribor, shared with Marko and heavy. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, light alcoholic nose. Moderate sweet malty, light hoppy and fruity with notes of spices and alcohol. Nice and pleasant brew.

Ogi’s. Jenlain makes some very good beers, but the thought of strong golden ales in fancy bottles makes me cringe in general. This one did pour a clear golden body, which surprised me, along with a small white head. Bubblegum, messy hopiness, vegetables and herbs, cloves... not entirely unappealing... Pretty much only malty notes in the taste though, orange, light... olive? Dust, vegetabley notes. Hmm... a generic roughly Belgian style strong golden ale, with nothing to set it above its peers.
