COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Odd small bottle, looks old fashioned. Simple brown clean body and small head. Roasted and doughy malts, simple whole wheat bread, dark spices like bay leaves and dried fruit like dades. Belgian mouth feel and taste, refined and not terribly complex yet full enough to be enjoyed. Not very thick yet enjoyable body. Classic in any respect, but the 7% alcohol gives some nice warming feel. Yeah, not bad at all. (25cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

canned; from a supermarket in Morteau, France - pours a translucide ruby-brown beer with no foam left; aroma of vegetable, candy sugar, metal and caramel; full-bodied and pretty sweet; light sticky and with a long metallic caramelish aftertaste with some residual sugars
