Nearly no head over clear red-copper beer. Very meaty nose at first, meatstock; later sweet(ish), toasted malts, honey, caramelsyrup. Sweet main taste with a short-lived, if intense bitter edge. Bittering hops (nearly UK in character) in evidence then, but losing the battle from the caramelsea. Still not really unbalanced; bit leafy-spicy. Light to medium bodied, caramel-slick, watery finish. Supermarket BdG. Thx to Stef!
