3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RichardGretton (3759) - - JAN 18, 2004
Standard biere de garde appearance with a light head and a malty/fruity aroma. Sweet initial flavour with a very bitter finish, slightly spiced as well. Overall an average biere de garde.

Bouteille from Carrefour. Clear straw-golden yellow, large white head. Solid malty base, slightly fruity with a good hoppy finish.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011

just a commercial beer from supermarket...
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2010
Sampled under the name of Bière Blonde de Tradition for Belgium. Thanks to Stefaan. Short-lived white head over clear metallic-golden beer. Sharpish caramel/toasted nose. Almondy aroma warming up. Again caramel in the taste, if not very outspoken. Faint almondy bitterness in the finish, but aftertaste is really sweet. Rather low carbonation, light body. Lifeless beer, obviously dead-pasteurized. Very boring tradition, I’d say.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 kappldav123 (3296) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2009
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts modest hoppy-dry. Becomes more and more metallically, a bit hard. Finish is flat and boring. I exspected more...
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 DeanF (1484) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, CANADA - JUN 20, 2009
Nice fluffy head, but the colour is way too piss-yellow for a biere de garde. Some sweet aromas, something like naughahyde seats too. Slight tastes of citrus, hops, but quite watery. Some hints of complexity that really never pan out.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SaintMatty (2850) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAY 13, 2009
250ml Bottle - Golden with moderate carbonation. Slightly citric aroma with hops and tea. Fruity and hoppy taste with some hints of peach.
