2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a golden amber with a frothy white head that leaves some light lacing. Smells a bit skunky, and my wife thought it smelled like "dirty feet". Not too great. Taste only slightly better, a bit of an apple and malt flavor. Not so good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear straw color with a medium white head that lasted well in my glass. Nose reminded me of picking peaches at Porter - kind of musty sweetness, very pleasant. Grass, straw, light bready malts, and more fruitiness in the flavor. Clean finish. Good beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange-kissed golden colour. Very thick sticky head. Aroma is quite earthy with a dank mustiness. Lots of basementy funky character. As it warms more sweet fruity character comes to the fore. Apricot, pear and apple along with a nice honey/caramel sweetness. Not really spicy per se, but the blend of fruit, fruit skins, and sweetness is quite compelling. A light herbal/grassy bitterness along with a white peppery bite. A bit of lemon and orange tartness as it starts to warm up. I quite like it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from 33cl bottle a hazy blonde with a medium sized white foam head. Nose is lightly tart and sour with hints of yeast, citrus and bread. The flavors are very soft and light checking in with some fruit (raisin, apricot, plum) together with a mildly sweet bready caramel, and a mix of citrus and honey. There is also some wheaty tartness, yeast, and mild grassy flavors. The palate is less spicy than most abbey style ales, with a soft creaminess instead. This is a nice beer, easy to drink, but I had my hopes for more spice and stronger flavors. I would drink this one again but only if I could find it at a cheaper price than $4 a bottle.
