argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2003 (draft): Hazy yellow body with big rocky white head. Aroma is lemon, strong Belgian yeasty. Medium sweet, lemon, spicy, yeast. Medium-light body, lightly carbonated Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 11, 2005 Zythos Beer Festival, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2005. Cloudy golden colour with a white head. Fruity yeasty hoppy aroma and a light sweet taste. Medium to full body. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Mar 23, 2005 Clear yellow colour, very small head. A bit thin, but with a nice bitterness and a hint of aromatic hoppiness. JorisPPattyn (4514), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 7, 2005 Draught Yellowish head, very dense and fine, stable; clear yellow-gold beer. Grain nose, flowery, very fruity-yeasty notes. Bitterish almond flavour. Usually I don’t like this, too remindful of cheap brandy, but in this restrained, really nut-like way, it’s quite fine. Every new sip renews this flavour. Pale malts underneath, grain retronasal. Light, "cobwebs" texture. No new aftertaste, but longlasting main taste. Actually, quite good lighter blonde. A tip?
