Commercial Description:
Loterbol is a crisp blonde ale that is very tasty and mightily satisfying. 'Loterbol' is a Flemish word for a fool or prankster, an allusion to the deceptive smoothness and drinkability of this beer.

Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Golden coloured, lightly hazy. Interesting orangey nose. Dry and medium bodied. Big, spicy nutmeg flavour, a hint of vanilla. Sparkling mouthfeel. Lingering nutmeggy, dry and bitter finish.

Clear yellow colour, very small head. A bit thin, but with a nice bitterness and a hint of aromatic hoppiness.

Draught Yellowish head, very dense and fine, stable; clear yellow-gold beer. Grain nose, flowery, very fruity-yeasty notes. Bitterish almond flavour. Usually I don’t like this, too remindful of cheap brandy, but in this restrained, really nut-like way, it’s quite fine. Every new sip renews this flavour. Pale malts underneath, grain retronasal. Light, "cobwebs" texture. No new aftertaste, but longlasting main taste. Actually, quite good lighter blonde. A tip?
