3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A 11.2 oz bottle shared by Brewfiend. Pours a medium orange amber with some cloudy/hazy character. At room temperature it holds a frothy thick head and it sticks. You can even build paterns in the foamy head that even my co-worker told me not to play with my food. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus fruit, ripe pears, yeast, and some sour grapes. Taste is a bit chewy, sour at first but has a sweet after taste. An average Belgian ale but not worth $6 to $7 a bottle.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. BBF 05/2015. This brewery is really everything that one could wish from a very small Belgian brewery. Solid, outstanding beer, something to set them apart, good price, excellent quality, standard offerings plus one or two specials, … whereas most breweries of their size put out infected, crummy beers which are dull and unimaginative at best. Bright opaque orange with little fungus looking white head. Smell is overripe oranges, esters, hay, sweet BE yeast, light caramel, mandarins, touch spices, bitter old yeast type stuff,… Taste is sweet caramel, thick BE yeast, plaster, slightly fruity, light bitter spices, touch esters, zest light pepper,… Malty body, med. slightly lively carb. This one is far from unique but it has no flaws, solidly executed, very drinkable,… This is really nice considering just how bad a lot of the beers from breweries of similar production sizes are.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Big smoke on opening the bottle; pours a huge white pillowy head and active small bubbly yellow glowing body. Wheat, citric, crisp, white bread aroma with simple Belgian yeast clearly present. Smooth body with lots of sugar present. Alcoholic warming throat feel. Simple, clean bitterness, light spice, lowly hopped. Extremely uninmaginative and straighforward, but not badly made. Too much sugar for it’s own good, to lift the taste. (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Slightly murky orange pour, small white head. Smells fruity but tastes pretty bad. Too old? Maybe. Drain pour.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
33cl bottle. Cloudy light orange with very big white head. Nose : strong yeast notes, straw background. Soapy and peppery, fruity zest. Sip : decent carbonation, low to medium density liquid with oily texture. Moderatly sweet with aromas of yeast, zest and pepper. Little dry and bitter and it lasts quite a while. On the end some notes of fruity candy still with some more pepper. Quite nice brew. Drinkable and savory.
