Bottle. A hazy red beer with a big white head. The aroma and taste is of dry cherries/marzipan and light acid. Medium body with a dry finish.

A Mes rate: Bottle thanks to Jean at Moeder Lambic.
A nice clean candy apple red colour with a thin white head and lots of lace. The cherries are very restrained and the bas beer is a little more obvious than maybe I would like. The end result is rather strange and the base beer and the fruit never quite marry. The delicate sourness is good and there is some good citric notes in the finish. Odd hints of strawberry yogurt. Interesting beer but not amazing.

Red colored beer with a pink head. Very fruity aroma with the sour cherries nicely present. Lighltly lactic and sourish cherry taste but a bit flat and not lasting at all.

750 ml bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is a lightly hazed ruby red, with a brilliant white head. Aroma is cinnamon, cherry fruit, along with warming sugar sweet malt. Taste is the cherry up front, tannin cherry skin, and the warming cinnamon malt, and then thins out with a clean fruit finish (cherry plus some sweeter strawberry). As it warms, a touch of tartness enters the picture, though this was certainly not the main story. Palate is light bodied, along with soft natural carbonation, body thins way out in the finish. Interesting, though the fruit is a bit less assertive than I normally enjoy in this type of beer. Thanks for sharing this Eugene.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Poured a fairly dark pink with a pink-hued one finger head. Tart fruits (cherry, raspberry & strawberry) with some farmyard, yeast & straw aromas. Cherry, bitter fruit skin & some sugar to taste. Good tartness with an underlying, relatively soft sweetness. Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation with a medium length & intensity sourness in the finish.
