3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 2, 2013
draught at Zly Casy. Hazy amber-brown colour, creamy off-white to beige head. Very "American" hop nose. Full-bodied, good malty base with a touch of caramel that supports the fruity hops very well. Bitter-sweet, almost IPA-like. Smooth palate. All in all a very nice experience.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - JAN 30, 2013
Bottle from Maria, Kraków. In short, this beer has an English feel with an American punch. Pronounced caramelly malty base, apple esters, citrusy and floral hops. Quite a full body, the maltiness is apparent and very pleasant. Strong bitterness with resiny and citrusy notes, although some earthy hints are also present, meaning there could also be some English hops in there. Creamy mouthfeel. Would be even better if it wasn’t slightly oxidised. A great crossover ale!

Hazy dark pale color with small head. Sweet aroma with low hops, probably a single hop with simcoe. Taste is earthy, burn, grassy. Too much burn. Light body, thick texture and flat carbonation.
