Cask Conditioned at The Horse & Groom, Caulcott. Dark black beer with red hints, tan head. Licorice flavours dominate, with coffee and some ripe fruit. Dark and bitter soul, a proper Irish Stout. Seek this one out if you can.

Black and strong in alcohol. Prominent bitter roast finish.
2 Cask Stillage at the Upper Campfield Market Hall, Manchester 24/01/2002
Dark coloured with a roast aroma. Slightly bitter lasting finish.

No notes on the aroma I´m afraid. Maybe I forgot or didn´t it have any.

Very dark with a nice creamy head. Has a sweet aroma. Flavor is a little coffee, and with some bitterness. Salty.

Draught: Pure black coloured. Head is huge and creamy. Aroma is roasty and coffeish. Flavour is roasted coffee with some toffee accents. Ends up in a faboulous bitterness on the palate. Last long. Definately better than Murphys and Guiness.

A black beer with a light creamy head. The aroma is smoked and sweet. The flavor is creamy and smoked from a good malt blend. It is very smooth for a smoked stout - great taste which makes it a good beer.
