same as Carden’s IPA - not really an IPA, more of a strong pale ale, not enough hop for IPA

i wonder if the name indicates that this is some sort of hybrid between an IPA and an Irish Red? anyway, not a lot of hops in evidence: more like an extra strong fruity bitter. very clear dark red colour. whiff of black bananas, or my old chess set. tastes uncannily like glace pineapple chunks marinated in bovril. spicy brown sugary finish.
