Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Dark copper color with no head. Sweet honey, caramel, very ripe fruit and alcohol. Long aftertaste. VEry nice.

[ Shared by Geokkjer ]. Clear medium brown amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, spicy honey, flowers - nectar, soapy notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, dark berry - fuity tart, honey. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20110820]

Bottle, 75cl, corked. A dark, copper colored beer, clear and flat. A bit heavy on heather and alcohol, but pleasant anyway. Raisins and of course honey too. It’s warming and full-bodied, slightly more heathery than I prefer, but far from bad. Caramel and dried fruits, both initially and in the end. Lasting warming finish. A bit too intense, but really tasteful anyway. 110820

Copper with no head. Aroma is floral, nutty, fruity, complex with hints of sweet cherry and almond. Sweet fruity flavour, lots of dessert wine character, nuts and vanilla.
