2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a pretty orange color. Bug hit of cat pee on the aroma. Flavor is good and piney but that aroma is too much. Reminds me of the Avery IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A - Served a hazy copper-orange color with a touch of white head. The head fades fairly quickly with a bit of lace left behind.
S - Aroma is full of sweet caramel and biscuit malts with a touch of bread.
T - Starts off with some sweet caramel malts with a touch of roasted character with some brown sugar sweetness. Through the middle some biscuit malt comes through with some more caramel flavor and some citrus and tropical hop. The finish is a mix of sweet caramel malt with some tropical hop, biscuit, and light bread.
M - Medium-light bodied with mild carbonation. Feels smooth with a lightly creamy mouthfeel.
D - Very drinkable. Good bitter with decent balance of malt and hops. Good balance of sweetness and other flavors.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Monkís Kettle. Pours a hazy orange with off-white head. The hops really overpower this along with a sweet candi-sugar aroma. Taste is dominated by a cotton-candi, citrusy flavor. Very puckering and overdone.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Comes in thin and bitter. No malts, no sweetness. Wow.... this is one of the beers that reinforces why I think one-dimensional hop-headedness is the wrong way to go. Orange color. (on tap at Monkís Kettle, San Francisco)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours with a hazed golden pour and a white head. Good retention. Aromas of grass, tangerine, peach, stone fruit, orange, grainy, candi sugar and pils malt. Flavors are bitter, grainy, hop tea, citrus, malty, a bit of aged hops, orange. Lively bubbles, a bit watery, dry. Seems a touch faded.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled on tap at Beer Revolution on 2/19/2011. This bitter pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and citrusy, touch of pineapple. A medium bodied bitter/IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy. Decent carbonation. A touch thin and watery. I realize itís a mild/bitter but it seems a little weak. Would work fairly well as a session ale, but not sure I would be total amped by that. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Orange-amber beer with a cream colored head. Pine and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel. Slightly lighter bodied. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light malt. Light astringency.
