Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of bread, earthiness and grapefruit zest. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit zest and light pine with a crisp dry bitter finish.

Bmber from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours clear, and it’s almost gold - but there’s an amber touch. Frothy white head. Not a big one though. Aroma: hop burn. Med body. Flavor is a light caramel with quite a bit of mixed hop, but there’s some harshness here. Voting for floral toning it down, voting resin for harshing it up, and I think I’m getting grapefruit rind. Heck, it even seems to go green melon on flavor. I’ve had beers with more hop burn, but this one has a lot of hop with an interesting flavor variation. Finishes pretty bitter.

Poured up on tap at the Pleasanton Hopyard with slightly hazy copperish gold body and white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma is sort of grapefruit flavored cotton candy, mild pine hops and not too much else. The taste has sort of a neutral pine and spicy hop bitterness that moves towards bitter hop resiny notes to midway and into the finish. The hop resin and mild booziness dries this out into the finish.

Draft. Light amber beer with an off-white head. Light pine and light tropical aroma. Pine and light grapefruit flavor with light earth. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pine and light caramel lingers with light grapefruit.
