Apr 17, 2008 Bottle from World Market in Fairfield, CA. Poured a dark copper color with a large tan head. I was very surprised with how much sweetness this beer had. My wife, who doesn’t drink beer, liked it. Very sweet and malty with the flavor of carmel and dark fruits. If you like sweet beer this is for you.

Dec 16, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Clear bronze colour. Fruity and lightly buttery. Fairly sweet with medium body and rounded dense mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A well made example of the style where there seems to be a have a lot of effort gone into creating an interesting malt character.

Feb 20, 2006 A nice Marzen for me, expected much more sweetness in this one, but it wasn’t too sweet, a nice drinkable brew. My first beer from this brewery, I’d like to try more.

Jun 12, 2005 Pours orange-amber, almost no head, aroma is fruity, yeasty. A bit of a surprise, I found this somewhat tart fruity marzen to be quite pleasant, well rounded and quite drinkable.
