COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
E.J. Phair Marzen is a German style amber lager brewed with eight different malts. It is crisp and clean with a wonderful malt character and virtually no bitterness. The term Marzen means March in German and that is when this style is traditionally brewed. Luckily E.J. Phair Marzen is available year round.

Bottle. Glowing amber color with almost no head (there;’s a thin white head that goes fast). Sweet malt aroma. Crisp is right. Nicely done. Sweet malts and a slight nuttiness. There are background hops for flavor (a touch of spice), but no bitterness. Well put together.

Looks kind of like tea when poured. Has a really fruity flavor. Little bit of bitterness at the back end. Enjoyable.

Nice amber color, thin bubbly white head. Noticable hops but they are subtle, Malt is nice, sweet tea. Overall it is pretty good, easy drinking, fun.

Medium orange color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is mild, with touches of malt and grain. A medium bodied marzen. Malts are fruity and sweet, with a very nice malt profile. Hops are mild and maybe a little spicy. This is a very easy drinking, nice tasting marzen. The malt flavors shine through in this very simple, but very nice marzen. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
