E.J.Phair Pilsner is a Czech style lager. It is very well balanced, golden colored beer, with a malty profile and abundant saaz hops in the finish. It is both refreshing and satifying on hot summer days or any other time a lighter, flavorful beer is desired.

Some saaz hops noticeable in the nose but somewhat lite for style. Slight nut and honey malt quality. Soft and clean mouthfeel. Very lite bitterness that almost gets lost on the malt which is fairly lite. sesion beer.

Pours light amber with a large head that remains. Aroma is slightly spicey hops with a bit of bready malt and some light fruit. Flavor is much the same as the aroma. The slight fruitiness is a bit different for a pils but is nice. Light, crisp, but still tasty.

Clear yellow with a huge meringuey head, biscuity lemon nose, toasted marshmallow as well. Sweet, sugary, biscuity. hops at the end are like damp fresh cut grass.

Lemon pledge nose. Didn’t taste much better. Kind of doughy. Biscuit. Sweet. Some hops. Odd pilsner, but good beer.

Bottle. "Bohemian" pilsner? This stuff is way too malty and sweet to be refreshing. Hardly any noticeable hop qualities to it. The head dissapeared way to quick. Life’s too short to drink stuff like this.

Pours a dark golden color with a hint of amber. Aroma is grainy and a little bit sweet. Full bodied. A little grainy and malty. Finish a little hint of sweetness. Mellow hoppiness. Pretty tasty. My bottle was %6.1 abv.

Pours a clear pale golden with a large, possibly overcarbonated, frothy white head. Aroma has some candy-like sweetness to it that I wouldn’t expect in a pils. The caramel candy sweetness makes this drinkable, but not very well balanced or true to style. Not necessarily a bad beer, but one that could use some tweaking.

Orange gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are nutty, fruity and fairly sweet. Hops are spicy and slightly bitter. Not a bad pilsner, it has some flavor and bite to it. Nicely balanced. Light and refreshing. A touch sweet and perhaps a touch watery, but a nice beer nonetheless. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
