Tasted on tap at the 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival on 2/9/2013. This triple IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, orange and citrusy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, with lots of orange and orange peel. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nice carbonation. Touch on the malty side and a little sweet. Very drinkable, despite the 10% alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft @ 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival, Hayward, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy grapefruit aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit and caramel flavor with weak piney hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Tap at BR. Clear orange pour with a persistent short white head leaving moderate lace. Nose is balanced with some pine and sweet malt. Medium-heavy body with moderate, fine carbonation. Pine, ganja and plenty of caramel malt to balance. Some spiciness akin to the GF Palate Wrecker. Finish is more of the same, with some cantaloupe and strawberries. My first ale from Phair, will be looking for more.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and caramel aroma. Caramel and grapefruit flavor with summer fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and grapefruit linger with caramel.

On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a hazy golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bread, woody hops and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, citrus, earthiness and pinme with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.
