Commercial Description:
A wonderful version of an Irish original. Many have said that this is one of the best stouts that they have ever tasted. Rich, full-bodied flavor that is a bit softer on the finish compared to most stouts.

Tap at their brew pub. It had no problems, but nothing to make it stand out in any way. A good average stout.

Tap at City beer. Pours with a black color and small head. May have been a tad too cold, but I did not get much out of it. Flavors and aromas were fairly mediocre, a touch of roasted malts and that was all she wrote. Boring.

Draft. Blackish with a little beige head. Roasty aroma. Coffee and roasted malt flavors. Full bodied, but easy to drink. Nice. No real harshness.
