1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
375 ml bottle shared by Travlr: Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a grassy herbal slightly funky nose with some mild sugary sweetness. Starts with a thin watery body with a light sweetness and some earthy funky notes and bitterness before a thinner dull finish. Seems like something is off with this.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
375mL thanks to Travlr. The pour is a clear white grape juice color, SRM3, with a weak head. Spotty, white lace. Nose is yellow apples and honey. Taste is tart, pretty bland, with some sour apples. Not bad. How come Zimbabwe can make better macro beer than the US? Hilarious.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
37.5ml bottle. It poured a light golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is grassy with notes of wet cardboard. Flavour is, well, not very noticable really. Some bitterness and grass again. Short aftertaste. Not a good beer, Even for a lager but it allows me to tick off another beer on the list.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
hops... hmmmmm... riiiiiight. eagle is the steel reserve of zambia -- meaning it has all the vomitous power of its US equivalent, and the mighty skunky/pee flavor associated with most african beers. this was the beer you drank when you had extremely limited funds, and you didn’t care how sick you were going to feel the next day. it is slightly more consumable cold. very medicinal/metallic flavor that will continue to haunt you, and make you reconsider consuming alcohol. get a better beer or two in you first before you start on this stuff. but other than that, a great zambian beer!

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottled. Pale golden, thick airy head. Aroma of mashed banana and a bit of that sorghum smell that reminds of very stale beer left in the sink. Fruity, sweet and medium bodied. The addition of sugar is evident, while the hops can hardly be noticed. The sorghum is mostly noticed in the aroma, then it appears to be just another adjunct lager. No bitterness. I can’t say I enjoy it.
