3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Aubrey (3347) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Bottle purchased in San Diego. Effervescent. Light malt flavors of crackers and faint nuts. Spicy with nips of white pepper and dried flowers. Pinch of citrus as well, though I wouldn’t call it fruity. Hops lack vibrancy and brightness, aromatically speaking. Bitterness is balanced, but I yearned for more. Pleasant IPA, but it seems to lack charisma. It’s an IPA from the West Coast, but it lacks the boldness of a West Coast IPA.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Orangish straw, a bit of haze, moderate to large frothy white head, so-so lacing.   Citrus peel and rind based hoppy aroma.   Very pithy on the tongue, bright too.   Faint sweetness, powdery.   Body
and mouthfeel are moderate.   Moderate bitter finish, pithy, citrus peel.   Could use a bit more malt body, and a touch more sweetness for me to say its balanced.   Tiz okay otherwise, but not one I would visit again.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 marcus (5013) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 16, 2013
Bottle shared by beerboxer. Pours clear golden with a decent off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a smooth caramel malt flavor with a carbonated bitter finish.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ADfan (482) - Orange County, California, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Poured on tap at The Beer Belly it pours a deep copper color with a nice head. It has some grapefruit and pine on the nose. Also some floral notes. Taste has grapefruit up front with more citrus. After that there is some bitterness and bready malts. Good finish.

Bottle. Cloudy orange color with a nice, frothy head. Strong grapefruit presence in the aroma with some hops in the background. Citrusy. Strong citrus flavor with some sweet hoppyness. Chewy with a dry finish. Solid IPA.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 XmnwildX12 (1483) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Has some nice fruity aromas and taste. Hops over power this one a bit in the finish, has an almost soapy fruit finish. Some hops are a hit or miss with me.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy butterscotch with a large off-white head that slowly dissipates with very nice lacing. Aroma is pine resin, citrus, light caramel. Flavor is about the same with a very light sweetness and a light to medium bitter hops presence with a bitter finish. Not a bad beer at all.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 greenhorn1 (666) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Bomber. Pours a hazy straw with no head. Grapefruit aroma and flavor, pine and malt. Not bad but it’s put together a bit sloppy.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bhensonb (9004) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours light gold with a frothy near white head. Aromas of citrus and resin. Med body. Flavor is citrus/resin with a phenolic touch. There’s a mild caramel backbone. This is a strongly flavored beer!
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jgb9348 (3970) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Nice, slightly hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of fresh grassy and citrus hops with a bit of pineapple, resin and a hint of alcohol noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive grassy and herbal hops with a very potent and nice malt backbone, a lot of resin and a dry, almost oaky flavour. Aftertaste shows some alcohol, tons of malt, some herbal and dry notes and a lot of hops - very bitter, but very nice. Overall, this is a very nice IPA and definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, California on 05-August-2012 for US$5.77 sampled at home in Washington on 04-November-2012.
