Strange nose: a bit fruity but with alcohol. Reddish colour with bubbles and light bubbly foam. Very sweet start with a bitter hops punch quickly following. Finish has the hops linger with bitterness. Alcohol flavour but without the dryness. The sweetness hides the alcohol taste but not the smell.

TimE (3146) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 23, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Light brown color. Tons and tons of rye in the nose. The mouth is rich, borderline cloying. Way too much rye to be enjoyable. Over the top malty sweet without much complexity. Boozy, just way too much without any a balance. Three is an apt name for this beer.

Most assuredly a strong ale. I have has on tap and in bottle and it is a boozy brawler. Not thick buy strong with some fusel type notes. It will be interesting to see how this ages.

On tap. Pours with a hazed orange hued body and an off-white head. Aromas are malty, grainy, citrus, orange, marmalade, medium esters, some alcohol and a light spicy, almost rye like note. Flavors are medium to slightly dark caramel flavors with medium fruity esters, boozy, low bitterness and some lingering strawberry like fruitiness. Creamy carbonation, fuller bodied, warming.
