7 June 2016, bottle. red/brown, clear, occasional bubbles. nose is sweet, some dark bread, some blue cheese, faint balsamic. thin body and mildly fizzy. interesting. it isn’t as tart/balsamic tasting as most flanders reds. it has some burnt malt in the background, and it is a tad watery. interesting.

From a 12 oz bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours an opaque reddish brown with a thick ecru head. Aroma of sour cherries. Flavors of sour fruit. Very smooth tart finish. Nice.

Thanks Andrew. Coppery brown, foamy head. Dark berry, ready yeast. Sharp tart and acidic bitter. Creamy sip. not bad, a little muddled.

Bottle at tasting, shared by friends. Pours murky brown with almost no head. Tart aroma and flavor with cherry, oak, some vinegar, sour lemon and maybe some olives. Quite nice, but not completely balanced tartness.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong oak, vinegar, sour fruit. Thin mouth, strong acidity, vinegar, oak, decent.

375 ml bottle poured. Waxed. Huge thanks to Tcon for gifting the bottle. Pours a reddish brown with almost no head. Big sour mixed berry aroma. Flavor is sour cherry fruit, berry, and a lingering dusty sour finish. Solid beer. Sourness rating 9/10. Very fun to try.

Appearance: Caramel brown color with little to no head but lots of carbonation in the center of the glass. Almost like a volcano Aroma: Sour with some red wine and brown sugar Taste: Mild sour body with a meaty flavor apple juice on the finish Overall: My bottle was a bit flat which otherwise would have been a tasty red sour without any distinct sour notes

12 ounce bottle .. Pours a deep tawny red leather .. Low foam .. . Typical big water .. Leather, red malt, and durty tart sweet leather .. Good but has a bit of grittiness/metal.. . . Now stand up, stretch those legs, and get to passing gas..

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours lightly hazed and rust-colored with a brief, white head. The aroma is a fruity, funky scramble of sour cherries, caramel, fallen wood and fallen apricots. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and jazzy carbonation. This is sour as hell, woody and fruity with an underpinning of caramel and a tiny splash of red wine vinegar. Crisp, sour finish. Thanks to newcigarz for providing this world-class Flanders red!
