Apr 26, 2006 Bottle August 05 picked up from the shop near the brewery. Some citrus and malt notes in the aroma, and citrusalso present in the taste there are hops present but like the previous contributor said not really enough. This is a decent enough beer but it hardly sets the pulse racing.

Mar 7, 2004 Updated: Oct 14, 2005No doubt intended to be regarded as an authentic IPA, but, in my view, it is nowhere near hoppy enough for that, so I’m calling it a bitter. It does have a mildly citric aroma and the taste has marked grapefruit character and a reasonably distinct hop profile. However, the overall impression is of a decent, but not overexciting beer. Certainly not a hop monster. Copper colour, dry finish. 750ml bottle (bottle conditioned) from Tastebuds shop next door to the brewery.
