Cask handpull at Victoria, Earl Soham. Pale copper, thin off white head. Quite a hoppy session bitter, some toffee malt, good dusty drying finish. Some apricot fruit. Rather a nice session beer that has certainly got good hop.

Cask conditioned @ Station Hotel, Framlingham (Suffolk). Aug 05. Good light traditional bitter. Refreshing hops and uncomplicated malt.

Cask@Old Fountain. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits and some slightly syrupy notes as well. Flavour is at first very sweet malty, caramelly and also has some nice liquorish notes. In the finish the whole thing goes quite wooden and grassy bitter.

Light copper colour. A very hoppy session bitter with a sweetish edge. Quite nice. Handpump, Station Hotel, Framlingham, October 2003.

Draught:
A little stale on the nose but it makes up for it with sweet honey with really fruity hops. This is a delicious, highly traditional bitter. Balanced, interesting and moreish. Delicate but with attitude.

Clear light to medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, dusty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010808)
