scraff (1920), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Aug 26, 2008 750mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Clear still pinkish purple. Nose was full of fresh honeyed blueberry throughout. Sweet honey and blueberry flavors continue the trend. Medium bodied and slick. Great mead... argo0 (6842), Washington DC, USA Aug 15, 2008 (750ml bottle, thanks CaptainCougar) Still violet/pink body, clear. Aroma is moderately sweet, blueberry, some honey. Taste is sweet, blueberry, honey, light alcohol. Medium-full body, some stickiness. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Aug 14, 2008 750mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Light purple, no head. Aroma is wine, honey, blueberry. Flavor is very sweet, honey, blueberry. Delicious for dessert. Smooth. kmweaver (2389), Sebastopol, California, USA Aug 8, 2008 750mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Pours a very bright, oily ruby-raspberry color; headless. Lots of blueberries and sweet honey in the aroma; not overly sweet, but slightly muted nose. Light carbonation, if any. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: viscous honey, basic blueberry notes, and heavy honeyed sweetness; generous, but again just a bit muted compared to what I’d hope for; alcohol is nonexistent. Lengthy finish: honeyed sweetness, basic blueberry character; lasting, reserved sweetness. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/14/2007

Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 3, 2007 Another big thanks to mcbackus for bringing this wonderful mead. Pours a cloudy garnet with zero head. The aroma is somewhere between big and huge with fruity berries and wine grapes. An inviting elixir that beckons to be consumed. The taste is just like the aroma with big smooth berriness, red wine and tartness. The finish is dry and very nice. TheCheeseMan (538), Saint Cloud, Florida, USA Jul 31, 2007 Courtesey mcbackus. Pours a beatuiful pink-purple color. No surprise, blueberries are front and center with the honey making a cameo as well. Very nice. Flavor is sweet, seamless integration between the fruit and honey. Damn, this is great. hopscotch (5437), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jul 31, 2007 Bottle... O-Town Throwdown Part Deux... Clear off-red mead. Both the aroma and flavor are all about honey and raspberries or blackberries; I can’t decide. Regardless, it’s made with blueberries so my nose and palate must be way off. Medium-bodied. Sweet, tangy and then dry. A joy to drink! Thanks go out to mcbackus for pulling this one from the back of the rack!
