CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, - DEC 25, 2009
(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub in Saskatoon on Christmas Evce, 2009. Poured a deep mahogany colour beneath a thin, off-white frothy head. Nose was mildy bready. All in all a solid beer. Don’t know about the berry, it was somewhat seedy, but not overly fruit-filled. The doughy malt shined more brightly in this beer - though I’d say it could hold more gravity, thicken and take a tad more alcohol (ie. too thin). My second most favourite next to the Czech Pils. Congrats Anthony, nice beer!

Tap but no one mentioned any berries. Dark colour and dark flavour with a hint of raisin perhaps. Not as good as the Winter Pudding was but better than the Whistler Dark.
