UPDATED: JAN 29, 2012 A: Rich amber body.. one and one half finger eggshell white cap.. good retention and some lacing... looks good S: Balanced. Pine and citrus plays off the caramel malt base very well... Relatively good complexity in character which will please the IPA fan that looks for a maltier rendition. T: The nose carries over very well here... this is a malty (but not too malty) IPA... mostly pine bitter notes... caramel malt, slight citric, earthy overtones. M: Light-medium body... rounded finish, could be a bit crisper and cleaner.. somewhat of a lingering aftertaste D: Pretty good brew... would have preferred a slightly more amped up hop presence at 7.2%, but this is a well crafted brew nonetheless

Tap at EBB. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of light pine and citrusy hops, some caramel, nuts and bready malt. Aroma was light for an IPA. Flavor was resiny pine, grapefruit, flowers, earthy, light caramel and toasted malt. Nice and dry.

Draft at EB&B. Dark orange-amber, thin white head. Orange and caramel rule the nose, minor pine from fresh hop. Sweeter flavor of citrus, more pine, and pale malt. Overly carbonated. Very by the numbers here, not a lasting impression.

[Draft @ EB+B] Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, pine, toffee malts, and some toast. Taste of citrus fruits, tangerines, pine, sweeter caramel malts, fruits, and a moderately bitter finish.
