From growler, courtesy of santos999. Roasty, raisins, chocolate and coffee, smoke, sesame and soy sauce. Great nose on this one. Dark black-brown with thin tan head. Medium-heavy body, less than chewy, but nice. Medium-light carbonation. Starts sweet and smoky with chocolate and coffee and light sesame. Short of cloying, it’s smooth, sweet, and smoky. Great stout.

Growler pours courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours deep dark mahogany with mocha like head. The aroma has a firm spicy black licorice note as well as dark roasted malts, sweet malts, earthiness, some lactose and faint tart tannin like fruit skins. The taste has rich malts and moving toward dark to near burnt malts followed by thick earthiness and spicy black licorice. It ends with lactose and mild fruity tannin like tartness.

Growler partagé avec Jcwattsrugger. Cheers John for this Belgianesque beer. Noire, mousse fine beige.

Thanks to jcwattsrugger for the share. Pours a menacing brown with a tan head. Nose is roast, coffee, dark fruit, spice, slight Belgian yeast, and definite lactose. Flavor has a bit of a lot: roast, coffee, dark fruit, yeast, and molasses. Medium bodied and delicious.

On draft at Earth. Pours a very dark cola with a medium sized light brown-tan head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, candied sugar, sweet chocolate, dates, figs and Belgian yeast. Taste of lightly roasted malts, chocolate soda, chocolate Now & , candied sugar, dates, and Belgian yeast. Very good imperial stout.

Dark fruits, alcohol. Malt, raisins, some chocolate, slight bourbon taste. A bit flat and dry at the end, but it’s almost really good.

Opaque black with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, smoked malts, dark fruits, candy sugar, and alcohol. Taste of more roast, dark chocolate, burnt wood, raisins, candy sugar, and light alcohol.
