Clear orange-brown pour with a thin white head. Very fresh malt and grain aroma. Sweet flavor with lots of malt. Very refreshing. We came into Earth after a long day of drinking at Capone’s needing a pick me up and this beer really hit the spot.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 pilgrimoutlaw (321) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2010
One of the better brews I’ve had from Earth + Bread. Very smooth beer that’s moderately sweet with a hint of sourness. It has a moderate body that feels good in the mouth. I’m impressed. I might have to go back and get a growler.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 blipp (3920) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Lightly sweet, fruity and bready aroma with some spicy hints. The flavor is also bready, with some sweet banana like fruity notes, yeast, and a light spicy hint. I can get pepper but I really can’t find any caraway seed flavor. Pretty unique and certainly enjoyable.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 kramer (3457) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Growler, from brewery. Pours a clear dark gold body with a one finger tight bubbled white head that faded to a wispy thin film. Great delicate floral and spicy nose with some bready malts, a nice unique pepper note, and a touch of yeast. Heavy doughy malts with lots of spice and pepper that’s the focus of the beer but doesn’t get too in your face. The finish has quite a unique doughy/bready taste to it that must be due to the bread yeast. Liquid Bread indeed, this is very appropriately named. Medium bodied, rather thick for the style, with soft gentle carbonation. This was really unique and good. Made the extra effort to get to the brewery very much worth it.
