Pours a hazy reddish brown with little to no head. Aroma of sweet caramel notes, molasses, sugar coated notes, oak, vanilla, spice cake, light bourbon, ripe dark fruits and a box of artisinal chocolates. Flavor of ripe dark fruits, rich caramel, pecans, honey roasted peanuts, sweet malts, light bourbon, vanilla and a hint of oak.

Murky brown red color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, vanilla, bourbon, caramel, and alcohol. Taste of bourbon up front, dark fruits, char, some smoke, vanilla, tart cherry, caramel, and alcohol in the finish.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep, dark maple amber with a tiny beige head that fades quickly. Aroma of oak wood, heavy bourbon, light vanilla and toffee. Taste of heavy bourbon, oak wood, toffee, light caramel and alcohol. A bit harsh. Time may mellow his one.
