Nice, doughy, almost rye-like nose. Moderately sweet taste, almost no bitterness with toffee, dark fruit and light herbs. Solid gruit.

Draft: (from backlog) Poured an amber color with a small amount of head. The aroma was sweet malts, ginger, and cloves. The flavor was even more spice, cardamom, cloves, ginger and caramel. Overall, a decent brew, just not for everyday drinking.

Clear orange-brown pour with a thin white head head. Lots of herbs and milling spices, nutmeg. Some notable cereal notes. Grain dominates the flavor with lots of spice. Dry with a bitter finish with a little bit of hops.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark, clear, coppery amber with a small off white head. Aroma of light herbs, ginger and malt. Taste of ginger, light herbs, mouthwash and malt. Not a big fan of this style.

Amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, toast, and various spices. Taste of lavender, cardamom, sweeter malts, and a semi-sweet finish.
