Growler pour courtesy of santoslhalper himself. Pours amber with brown hues. Eggshell, rimming head. Nose is caramel malt with a touch of roast and smoke. Taste is caramel with roasted flavor and slight bright fruit. Good dose of bitter, dry and lingering throughout the finish. A rather complex taste for the style. Tasty brew with great mouth feel.

A Christmas gift / miracle from santoslhalper. Pours a clear amber color with a nice reddish tint to it. Aroma is malty and grainy. A decent sweetness. Flavor has kind of a strange dichotomy of roasted coffee and citrus that adds a sort of acidic brightness. Very complex. Could have wanted a little bit more carb, but I am pretty sure the growler was a couple days old. Finishes with a roasty, nutty, dryness. Very solid mild.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep amber/copper in color with a small lasting off white head. Aroma of toasted malt, molasses, some bread and a touch of roast. Taste is malty, lightly sweet with molasses, mild roast, a touch of chocolate and light yeast dough. Very easy drinking, but with a decent body, especially for the ABV. Very light bitterness in the finish, very well done.

On tap at the brewery. Mild woody notes, like a cask ale, with hints of biscuit and dark roasted malt. Light hop character. Dark copper-amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with dry roasted grains, light brown sugar, and muted hop bitterness. Carbonic acidity. Very mild dark, with clean finish and a light bitter after. Well balanced. A nice session ale.
