good take on the style. Beautiful hazy pale-golden color. thin head that turns to spotty capping. clean, crisp flavors of tart lemon, earthy wheat, and subtle herbal notes. Classic Berliner Weisse—tart, tangy, hazy, refreshing. I love that Tom does styles like this that are so against the superficial trends in the beer scene.

On tap at EBB. hazy lemon, frothy thin white head drops quick. Nose is granny smith, light hay, urea. Flavor is more grainy, still granny smith, lactic lingering a bit. Thin, lightly metallic finish, a bit mineral in the finish, more fruit skin, moderately sour along jaw.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy light yellow with a very small rim of white head that vanishes quickly. Aroma of sour, tart wheat. Flavor of sweettarts and sour wheat malt but not as sour as a sour ale. Sharp and tart but palatable. Good berliner! 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

From growler, courtesy of santos999. Tart and lactic nose, apricot, peach notes, starts a little cheesy, then goes into pear and other fruit. Subtle characters. Hazy cloudy pale yellow with no head. Medium-light body with thin carbonation. Starts sour and lactic and stays that way. Peaches, apricots, pears, lactic acid and funk. Mild hop note. Dry tart finish and sour clean after. Nice Berliner - perfect without syrup.

On draft at Earth. Pours a cloudy pear juice color with a small white head. Aroma of sour kraut, sour wheat and tartiness. Taste is much the same. Very tart.
