3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dickinsonbeer (5076) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Tap at BCWC 2010. Pours a hazy blonde/gold with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is a bit off with isovaleric acid- mixed with some peppery spice, earth and funk. Flavor has a bit less noticeable isovaleric but still there- ok funk, plastic brett, decent malt profile, but just off- either not ready yet, past its prime, or the brett was a very weird strain that I didn’t like. Meh.
