FIRST rating of this! On draft at Earth. Dark pour with a bit of tan froth. Lightly roasty and fruity aroma, with some dark chocolate and grass. Rumor has it that the head brewer at Earth used to specialize in big beers when he ran another brewpub (Heavyweight, now retired), but has since moved onto lighter, mellower brews. He may have lost his touch a bit with the extreme brews. This one tasted a little bit off to me, not as good as the Heavyweight I was fortunate enough to try. There is a little molasses and tar, along with chocolate and brown sugar, even a little seawater and honey. Interesting but not the best.
