Cask at Brazen Head. Clear pale golden-amber pour with no head at all. The nose is quite fresh and bright. A lot of fruitiness and light honeyed sweetness. Some grapefruit and pine although it’s not very punchy at all. A little bit of peachy sweetness that kind of detracts from the hops. The alcohol is pretty noticable in here. Definitely needs the hop bill to be tripled at least… comes across as far too sweet.

Bottle from PUB’N via a special messenger. Pours turbid deep copper with riby edges and 2 f owh. Nose is c malt, orange marm, earthy perfumy floral hops, and the taste is rich, very resiny, complex, piney, hoppy, with a huge caramel malt bill, fruit, tangerine, and brown sugar. This is yet another great beer from Scott Smith and East End.

Orange, sweet/spicy notes, soft dust. This smells like a belgian somewhat. Fruity, spicy, and peppery bitterness. Somewhat floral bitterness lingers on the palate. Really interesting mix of belgian/saison/ipa. Orange amber pour with really nice head retention.
