Smell of hops, definetly not simcoe or centennial but none the less a nice crispy ipa. Not quite a double but in between. It says dont cellar, but I m going to let the other bottle sit up two weeks and see what I get.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 nike (746) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2012
A rare Imperial/Double IPA that does not overwhelm you with the “imperial flavor” . Well balanced brew, good complexity going on with this one. Taste of citrus and floral hops, hints of grassy and caramel as well. I would suggest this brew to someone trying this style for the first time. Great hoppy flavor. Not sure the abv., but it is well hidden in the bitter (but not overwhelming finish).

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DSG (3927) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 19, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Bottled about a year ago, but was kept in the Dancing Camel cooling room for quite a while. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of somewhat stale hops with floral and citric notes. Rather dry flavor with light sweetness, some fruitiness and a bitter finish with floral and grapefruity hops. Medium-bodied. Quite refreshing.

Wow a very nice complex IMP IPA from my home state of Pennsylvania.
Very complex, but well balanced and delicious.
Bold earthy, floral and caramel aromas. Tastey hop, carmel citrus and fruit flavors. A nice warming alcohol, dry finish. All blended to perfection.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 machfive55 (347) - Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Probably showing some signs of age, it was a good beer, aroma wasn’t anything great. There were some good hop flavors but nothing crazy, mellow bitterness which gives it a pleasing palate. Hops and malt balance well.

Cloudy light amber beer, off-white creamy head, pretty stable, adhesive with nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, piny, resin. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: citric fruits, lots of grapefruit, bit of passion fruit, bitter hops. Aftertaste: bitter and passion fruits, very dry finish.

A dark yellow, white cover. Aroma is mostly just woody hops, some light toasted malts. Taste is a strong hoppiness, herbal, woody, light toasted malts again, nice bittering finish, but a bit brash with noticeable alcohol.

(draught) cloudy as hell, light yellow, creamy white head. Nose of candi sugar, pineapple, agave, papaya. Taste of pineapple, mango, delicious citrus, just the lightest bit earthy, light bitter but so well balanced. Prickly carbonation, earthy. A very unique IPA.
