Bottle 750ml. @ home.

[ Trade by GAManiac ]. [ Batch 2006 ]. Clear medium red amber - orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, caramel, riped fruit, wood, tobacco, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, dried fruit - berries, alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and light heavy with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110722]

Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops as well as medium notes of caramel and dust, and light notes of alcohol.

From bottle, blind #14. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Dry phenolic and roasted malt aroma, light spiced. Sweet caramel, roasted malt, mild spiced and solid pinewood to liqourice hoppy flavoured. Roaste caramel and light acidic bitterness into the far finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Storm. Hazy and opaque amber golden with a beige head. Oxidized aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied, a little low in carbonation, overripe fruit, caramel and vanilla. Some bitterness in the finish. 290509

Bottled@omhper. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, alcohol, hops and mild grasy notes. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, hops, resin, honey and some over all quite sweetish notes.

Bottled, thanks MrChopin! Hazy copper colour, small head. Mild and caramelly. Full bodied, soft and cottony. Sweet and gentle warming and malty, beatifully balanced by enough hops to give it an exptra dimension. Lovely!

Bottle #14 at Papsø’s blindtasting. Hazy orange brown coloured with a huge off white ehad. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, peaches, hops and pine needles. Sweet and fruity flavour of yeast, grass, hops and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle @ Hallinghansens US Tasting, Odense. 2007. Bottle 1413/1500. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Sweet malty nose and flavor. Winegums, caramel, toffee liquorice. Full bodied. Sweet , actually a bit too much. Cloying.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy amber to dark amber color; small creamy head. Nice aroma of caramel and American hops, a bit dusty later, then hazelnuts. Very good mouthfeel, both for the strength and for being smooth; excellent caramel flavor, sweet enough for my tooth, with an extreme hopping that brings some resins, some oils and some fruitness (oranges). There is a good balance between the sweetness, the fruit touch and the bitterness; also the alcohol warming final contributes. Strong and powerful final. Excellent!

(750ml bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of cherry, toastiness, caramel, vinous, brown sugar, rum, and figs. Flavor of bread, hops, caramel, toffee, and various fruit.
