This special batch was custom brewed exclusively for Bike Pittsburgh’s BIKE FEST! – Pittsburgh’s first annual week-plus long celebration of all things bicycling. It's a is a single-hopped single-batch release from East End Brewing, (Pittsburgh’s MICRO-est microbrewery). When it’s here it’s here, but when it’s gone… well you get the idea. Let’s just say that like summer, enjoy it while it lasts.

Pours an amber with a thin white head. Nice citrus aroma. Slightly bitter and somewhat harsh finish with a grapefruit rind flavor. It wasn’t very bad but this isn’t my favorite style of beer. Not as hoppy as some others I have had so it was OK.

Clean pale ale with a nice amount of head to it. Crisp taste and hoppy enough to have good flavor

Nice easy drinking APA. Good hop and malt balance. Really enjoyed it and wish it wasn't a one off.

Transfer from BA review on 8-4-12- Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass Appearance – Served a light golden color with a one finger white head. The head faded fast to give a light amount of lacing. Smell – The aroma was almost non-existent. There was a very light malt aroma and a tiny citrus smell. Taste – The taste was on the rather mild side. At the start it was entirely of a light malt flavor. Soon flavors of a citrus nature come to the taste. This more lemon hop and orange citrus flavor is soon met with a lighter pine and grassy hop flavor. These take the taste to the end leaving a slightly bitter hop taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The beer had a lower then average body with a higher than average carbonation. Both were good for the more subtle malt and hoppy flavors of the beer. Overall – Decent, but not really one that stands out in my book. It has a good citrus hop flavor, but could use a bit more of a malt body.

12oz pour at a stop we made in Pittsburgh. Pours a orange with slight head . Aroma is hoppy and light which is nice. Beer was not overly complex, lemon and bitter finish. Easy drinking in a hot day.

A few draft pints with Barry and Mitch at OTB in Pittsburgh after riding the great Allegheny Passage to Duquesne. Nice and dry, yet creamy and rich. One of Pittsburgh’s best.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy vibrant pale orange color with a large head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus hops and pale malts. The taste is bitter resin and citrus hops with pale cracker malts. Medium bodied, well balanced and quite drinkable.
