Dark yellow, beige cover. Aroma is toast, caramel, pine hops. Taste is straightforward, sweet, caramel, pine, herbal hosp, good bittering finish, a bit of a hint in the finish from their house ale yeast.

On draft at the Brillo Box. Poured hazy light orange. Light and fruity with floral notes. Thin bodied. Solid APA.

Growler courtesy of Tom shared with tom, pat and vin. Pours a hazy golden orange with thick frothy white head. Aroma is fresh citrus, tangerine and pine. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of bitter pine, floral soapiness, onions, citrus fruits and light grassy hops.

Growler pour from Tom, fresh from Pittsburgh. Pours hazy, funked out gold with a soapy, clean, tightly-bubbled head. Aroma is skunky, freshly broken-up sour diesel, sunflower seeds, oyster crackers, freshly cut grass, and some sweet vidalia onions. Body is fairly tight, slightly tart, and bitter. Tastes very bitter, hoppy, slightly grass, and a tad oniony in the finish. Excellent pale ale. Very fresh and clean.

Grower from the brew pub. Pours light golden, clean, little white head, good kacing. Shared w Pat and Vincent. Aroma is straight weed and onion. Taste is floral hops, straw, onion. Tasty

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2012 Growler fill sample from Tom, pours an ultra cloudy and hazy yellow color, not much head , decent lacing. Aromas are diesel, cheese, funk, hops. Taste is a nice lemon grass, earthy hop freshness, great balance of malt and bitterness from hops. aftertaste and finish have notes of watermelon. Not bad, wish the taste was a little more oily like the aroma.

Very solid pale ale, good balance with a pleasant hoppiness up against a medium bodied slightly sweet caramel malt backdrop. Good stuff.

Poured into a pint glass. Growler of this from my gf for my birthday. 4.5 A: Slightly hazed golden yellow color. One and a half fingers of off-white dense frothy head with good retention and tons of lacing. 4.5 S: Bright floral and spicy hops. Graham cracker maltiness with plenty of the dank grassy house flavor which works really well in this beer. 4.0 T: Herbal and grassy hop flavor. Fairly assertive bitterness. A touch of indistinguishable general citrus. Cracker and biscuity malts with a bit of crystal in there too. Overall solid. 4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Good creaminess and smooth with a bitter aftertaste. 4.5 D: Definitely a solid APA that you aren’t mad about coming in growler form. No problems and good taste. [Draft @ Capones] Lightly hazy dark golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, grass, toffee, and toasted malts. Taste of citrus, light pine, grapefruit, tropical fruits, yeast, toast, and a mildly bitter finish.

Tap at Capones. Pours a milky orange with golden notes a medium bubbly/creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, citrus and pine note. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, caramel, nuts and bready malt. Nice smooth pale ale.
