American Wheat with a huge, downright resinous hop character to it.

Bottle shared with Kief and Simz. Pours muddy orange with small to medium white head. Notes are a bit astringent with ash, honey, orange and grain. Green tea and marmalade as it warmed. Not bad.

Bottle: (hand-me-down from shrubber via Weihenweizen....thanks both!) Hazy, slightly greenish/dirty gold with a huge, puffy white head. Orange, grapefruit, pine, wheat aroma. Flavour is sweet....orange malt, pine, orange-pel, wheat malt. Wonderful body and tingly brightness. I could drink these all day.

Bottle (courtesy of Weihenweizen). Pine, grapefruit peel and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow with giant white head. Sweet orange wheat malt and strong bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body and balance. Excellent.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a weizen glass. Hazy pale golden with huge fluffy white head. Aroma is light fresh herbal hops, medium body, well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is rich herbal hops and slightly bitter finish. Quite good for the style, refreshing, but a little pricey.

Slight yellow haze, thin head. One of the more citrus varietals of east ends selections but still with a bitter finish that mixes well with the wheat flavors.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours hazy pale yellow with nice head that lingers. Aroma is grass, simcoe hops sweet malty notes and citrus. Flavor is similar with a bit of juicy fruits, and a nice citrus peal finish.

Fresh from the growler. The appearance is a hazy golden carmel color with a sticky foam head. The aroma is a tad weak. I could pick up on grains and the citrus floral hops. As for the flavor I taste bread like grains, bittering hops, grapefruit, and yeast. The wheat character and hops blend nicely. The best part is the finish. This beverage starts off mildly bitter and falls off from the grains, citrus, and yeast. In the end the bitterness is still noticed but it was weakened nicely to make this a very drinkable beverage. Overall this is a good beverage. The only thing I wish I could have enjoyed more was the aroma. It was too weak for me. Now the best thing I enjoyed was the yeast flavor. This is worth a try.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2013 Cool and refreshing. Subtle hop aroma. Cloudy yellow pour with a pillowy white head. Effervescent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
