Slight yellow haze, thin head. One of the more citrus varietals of east ends selections but still with a bitter finish that mixes well with the wheat flavors.

Draft at Caponeís. Pours hazy pale yellow with nice head that lingers. Aroma is grass, simcoe hops sweet malty notes and citrus. Flavor is similar with a bit of juicy fruits, and a nice citrus peal finish.

Fresh from the growler. The appearance is a hazy golden carmel color with a sticky foam head. The aroma is a tad weak. I could pick up on grains and the citrus floral hops. As for the flavor I taste bread like grains, bittering hops, grapefruit, and yeast. The wheat character and hops blend nicely. The best part is the finish. This beverage starts off mildly bitter and falls off from the grains, citrus, and yeast. In the end the bitterness is still noticed but it was weakened nicely to make this a very drinkable beverage. Overall this is a good beverage. The only thing I wish I could have enjoyed more was the aroma. It was too weak for me. Now the best thing I enjoyed was the yeast flavor. This is worth a try.

Draft at Capones. Poured an orange body of medium density and a foamy white head. Aroma is horrible, all I was getting was vomit for some reason, yes vomit. Medium/full bodied with stronger carbonation, and a quick fading aftertaste. Flavor of loads of hops, grass, wheat, honey and citrus. Not bad but what the hell is up with the odd aroma.

A- Body is a quite foggy, tawny golden yellow hue. Pours with a massive 3 finger+ white, foamy head that eventually settles to a big thick collar. Lacing sticks all the way down the glass. S-This smells good and as one should expect for a hoppy wheat beer. The main character is a big bready, grainy wheat scent but there is a good bit of citrus and earthy hops there as well. T-Flavor is actually pretty complex. Mild strength earthy and citrus hop flavors upfront with a moderate bready backbone. Most of the flavor comes through for the finish where there is a big dose of bread dough a hint of pine and the slightest hint of grapefruit as well as more intense earthy flavors. The hop bitterness is pretty high, somewhat crass and long lasting but is accompanied by remnants of smooth, bready yeast. P-Moderate carbonation, lightweight body that is full and pretty smooth and yeasty. O- Overall-I like this brew and think that it is good. If the hop profile in this brew was brighter and the mouthfeel more oily this would probably be one of my favorite brews. The bitterness is ok-but I donít think the initial flavors were bright enough to earn it. Its pretty complex for a small brew and very drinkable and enjoyable. Its not quite hop sun, uber sun, or gumballhead. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 04-26-2010 18:07:07

Sampled at brewery. Poured hazy gold in color with a mountainous white frothy head. Aroma of wheat and hops. surprise surprise. Taste was a bit earthy and dusty. Flavors of wheat, with an overpowering hop presence. Hops are maybe a little too bittering for my liking. I enjoyed this because itís not the average IPA or APA. Itís different and very drinkable.

Draft at BMRAF 08. Poured hazy amber color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate wheat citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
