This poured a golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was mainly citrusy hops. Flavor was sour bready malts and traces of west coast hops. Decent, but not the hop loaded beer I expected from the description.

3/11/09 Growler pour courtesy of Nate. Pours hazy yellow-gold with white, fizzy head. Grapefruit nose with bready notes, slight caramel and a touc hof chocolate/roast somewhere. Taste is bread, caramel with mild hope and crisp tartness, citrus and pine with mild woody notes at the end. A bit astringent/bitter at the end with the wood. Not bad.

From growler. Has a nice orange and citrus snappy hop nose to it. Light floral sweetness and some base malt aroma. Clean and crisp nose. Cloudy amber golden body with thin lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation - easy drinking. Starts with muted malt sweetness and mainly some orange-like citrus taste - really reminded me of the Wit in some ways. Pretty dry with some snappy bitter character in the finish. Orange peel and like herbal notes. Light bitter chalky after with fruity hop notes.

Growler shared by pghlee and Georgiabeer at the Brick Store.
Pours a fluorescent hazy yellow with a small bubbly white head that faded pretty quickly to a collar and left no lacing.
The aroma is pretty mild for an APA with some hops up front but lots toasted grains and oak mixed in as well. There was some light fruit present in the nose in the form of apples.
The taste had a faint lemony hop kick up front before giving way to a lighter malt backbone that had a toasty character that could be attributable in part to the oak.
The mouthfeel was on the lighter side and slightly watery with low carbonation.
This is certainly a drinkable session ale but there really was nothing that stands out in this one.

I haven seen a beer that looks like this before, almost like unfiltered apple juice. Looks much thicker than it is. Hops and oak are in the nose and mouth. I love beer this fresh. Med body and carbonation. Another hit from east end. Aged in the same barrel as my all time favorite, Homewood Reserve!

On tap at the brewery, nice place. Very light hazy bright yellow color, almost borders on neon under these warehouse lights. Nice head, Hoppy and quite light in body. Hoppy and light flavors at the same time. Cannot taste the oak thing in this one. Typical east end beer aroma, light and friendly. Cannot detect much hop on the olfactory. Overall, acceptable even for somebody who doesn’t like hops. Finish is medium watered down hop bitterness.
