Pours a nice copper, caremely color with thin white head. HMMM smells like east end beers with a nice hint of sweetness. Carbonated with a nice malty feel mixed with just a hint of banana and clove. Hop taste on the way down. Pretty easy drinking. Great session beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From growler. Subtle banana-clove esters with much more caramel malty sweet undertones. Sweet and heady, with light hops and just a bit of roasty character. Coppery dark amber clear with slight haze, topped with off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy water body with medium-high carbonation, spritzy almost. Starts sweet with lots of caramel and banana, light clove, and some roasted character. Very little bitterness, slightly acidic. Bright sweet fruity-caramel finish, with light fruity after. Nice one - and my wife really enjoys this, too.

Sampled on draft at Johnny’s Wife’s Place II this beer poured a dark brown color with a small beige head that lingered. The aroma was tangy with notes of banana and cloves. The flavor was tart and bitter with toasted caramel, banana, clove and nut. The finish was long with caramel. Moderately full body. Nice.
