From growler. Nose with hints of cherries, some light Belgian funk, mild lactic acidity and a bit of fruity sweetness. Bit of brown sugar and orange peel, chocolate. Coppery amber body, hazy, with thin creamy off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Starts pretty sweet, with notes of a Belgian dubbel mixed with saison. Caramel, orange syrup, Belgian yeast and some funk, with a light lactic undertone, or maybe the hint of macerated cherries. Finishes with sweetness and some nutty astringency, powdery bubblegum yeast, and a nice rounded hop bitterness. After is sweet like plum and leaves a palate as if you had tasted some BSA or quad. Odd, but very nice.

This poured a darker orange color with an off white head. Aroma was light yeast notes, some fruit, mild hops too. Flavor was East End house taste, a good amount of yeasty fruit estery character and a decent bitter finish. Not bad.

Orange-brown, beige cover. The aroma is estery similar to the hefes, caramel. The taste is similar esters, lightly herbal, spicy, caramel sweet.
