Growler from brewery. Clear golden body with fluffy white head. Mild aroma of wheat and straw. Flavor has some mild spice along with the slightly tart wheat and straw flavor. Fine session ale but lacking some character.

Draft at Capone’s. Hazy dark straw brownish pour with off-white head. The aroma is bready, citric, and the flavor is bready malt mixed with some citrus and spicy notes. Medium palate and refreshing.

Draft @ Capones. Golden color with a medium white head. Aroma has some gentle wheat and assorted malt, citrus, and a bit of spice. Flavor has a light belgian wheat taste that seems more like a less hoppy Belgian pale than a citric wit or Hefe. Interesting use of malt and spice - I continue to be amazed by these East End session brews, though this is no Kvass. Highly drinkable.

Draught: Aroma of spices, coriander, and lemon. Smells like a Hefeweizen. Poured orange in color with a large, foamy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is fruity, with spices, orange, anise, and peach. Light body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Fruity finish.

Poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of grains, citrus, orange peel, coriander, and lightly earthy yeast. Taste was citrus, orange peel, lightly tart, but not sour. Light mouthfeel. Would be great in the summer.
